Clinical pathways are already overly complicated. Adding to them is easy, and most health technology does exactly that: another login, another screen, another step between a clinician and a decision.
We think the bar is higher than that. Innovation needs to simplify current practice, or improve it enough to justify the disruption of changing it. In practice that means involving clinicians before the build, understanding the pathway before designing the product, and measuring outcomes that a clinician would recognise as mattering.
