Built by the people who use it.

Sycamore is a small team of clinicians and engineers building evidence-based software for clinical practice and medical education. We make tools we’d be glad to use ourselves on a Tuesday on-call.

Today we run two live platforms. EchoMCQ supports cardiology trainees and consultants through echocardiography accreditation. RevisionMD covers the full arc of UK medical exams: undergraduate finals, PLAB, PSA, EECC, MRCS, MRCP and GP AKT. ECG Ready, our structured ECG interpretation course, is integrating into RevisionMD as its next module.

We collaborate with clinicians, educators and grant funders, and we’re glad to hear from anyone whose problem benefits from clinical input at the table.

How ECG Ready fits inside RevisionMD

Trainees already revise MRCP, GP AKT and finals on RevisionMD. ECG Ready slots into the same rhythm, so reading ECGs becomes part of how a trainee revises, not a separate course to find time for.

Designing for the trainee on a night shift

Our products are built to be useful at 03:00 with five minutes between bleeps, not at a desk with two textbooks open. That single constraint shapes most of what we ship.

Inside an EchoMCQ question

Each question moves through scenario design, image vetting, distractor balancing and consultant peer-review before it ships. A look at the editorial process behind the platform.
